HORSESHOEING UNLIMITED

This mare was kept on a dry lot and did not get ridden much. The mare was not kept on a good schedule prior to HORSESHOEING UNLIMITED taking care of her needs.

Above shows this mare before we started. She was sore and rocked back on her heels. The owners had x-rays done which showed rotation in the coffin bone (P3)

We applied a large Eggbar shoe and applied a pour in gel pad from Vettec to stabilize the foot, support the boney column, and distribute the weight off of the coffin bone (P3)

Here  she is on her way to a full recovery !

P.S. She was scheduled to be put down when we arrived. Her owners are very happy it did not come to that. This is a situation where a Farrier and a Veterinarian can make a difference working together.
